Frederick Opare-Ansah calls for a united NPP towards ‘Breaking The 8’
Former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Suhum constituency, Fredrick Opare-Ansah has been speaking about the New Patriotic Party (NPP)’s “Break The 8” intention.
According to him, the NPP fraternity coming together to build a united front is of vital importance towards staying in government.
Speaking after the party’s Constituency Annual Delegate Conference, Mr. Opare-Ansah called for commitment, diligence, volunteerism, and loyalty among the grassroots.
“This is an opportune moment for the party to unite with a common purpose and stoke commitment, diligence, volunteerism, and loyalty among the grassroots, even as we lace our boots in preparation for the imminent re-organization exercise that starts from the polling station, through the Constituency and Region to the National level.” He posted on Facebook.
He also called on the members to establish a tradition that promotes equity and eschew discrimination on any grounds.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) holds Constituency Annual Delegate Conference in all the 275 Constituencies across the country under Article 7(27) of the NPP Constitution.
This is an opportune moment for the party to unite with a common purpose and stoke commitment, diligence, volunteerism, and loyalty among the grassroots, even as we lace our boots in preparation for the imminent re-organization exercise that starts from the polling station, through the Constituency and Region to the National level.
It’s imperative that, collectively, we charter a path that builds and not destroy; build a family that is United in dissent and not divided against itself; refine the system to reward hard work and not slothfulness; establish a tradition that promotes equity and eschew discrimination on any grounds; consolidate for ourselves and Ghanaians, a party with skillful and highly motivated officers and grassroots that present hope for the vulnerable in building a prosperous Ghana.
This remains our surest trump card to achieve the ultimate goal of “Breaking the 8”.
I pray for traveling mercies for each delegate across the 275 constituencies and wish you the very best. I humbly advise that we strive to holistically adhere to all the COVID-19 preventive etiquettes and keep safe and healthy throughout the conference and even afterward.
May the good Lord grant us a successful conference and continue to bless our Party and Country.
Thank you.
Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah
Fmr. MP, Suhum Constituency
