Ghana Premier League: Bechem United’s Okrah remains optimistic ahead of Nations clash

Bechem United will be desperate to revive their Ghana Premier League campaign when they host Nations FC in a Week 8 fixture at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Friday at 3 PM.
The 2016 FA Cup winners, under Desmond Botchway, have collected just 5 points from a possible 21, sitting near the bottom of the table. Captain Augustine Okrah has rallied the squad ahead of the clash:
“We are preparing well… I hope by the Grace of God we will do our best to get the three points for Bechem United,” he told Bechem United TV.
Nations FC: New Coach, New Energy
Nations FC arrive with renewed momentum, having appointed Stephen Frimpong Manso — the tactician who led Gold Stars to the GPL title last season — as replacement for Kassim Mingle Ocansey.
Manso’s debut will be closely watched, especially after his CAF Champions League exit with Gold Stars. Nations FC currently sit three points ahead of Bechem, making this a six-pointer in the early relegation zone battle.
Both sides are win-hungry, and the fixture promises intensity, tactical shifts, and emotional stakes as Bechem seek redemption and Nations aim to kickstart the Frimpong Manso era.
