Ghana Premier League: Hearts of Oak record back-to-back wins as they defeat Eleven Wonders

Hearts of Oak continued their steady start to the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League with a 1–0 victory over Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday evening, securing back-to-back wins by the same scoreline.
The Phobians struck early through Enock Asubonteng, who capitalized on a goalmouth scramble in the 17th minute following a corner kick. The goal mirrored their previous match against Dreams FC, where a solitary strike also sealed all three points.
Despite creating fewer chances, Hearts made their possession count, defending resolutely and relying on goalkeeper Benjamin Asare, who produced several key saves to preserve the lead.
Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side showed maturity in managing the game, absorbing pressure and capitalizing on set-piece opportunities. The win temporarily lifts Hearts to the top of the table with seven points, while Eleven Wonders remain winless after three matches.
Hearts of Oak will look to capitalize on their strong run after two straight wins when they face Bechem United in the Match week four, whilst Eleven Wonders continue to find their first win of the season when they travel to Young Apostles in the same game week.
