CAF is set to make a decision today over match points that were up for grabs in the 2019 AFCON qualifier between the Black Stars and Sierra Leone after the game was cancelled.

The double header which was slated for Kumasi and Freetown on October 11 and 14, was called off  after Sierra Leone failed to meet a Fifa ultimatum.

While reports say Ghana could be awarded full points for the two games, other speculations say Sierra Leone will be taken out of the group completely, leaving only three teams. The results of the Leone Stars' two games played until now, in that case, would be nullified.

Meanwhile CAF is expected to give it’s ruling over the matter with Ghana’s FA piling on the pressure.

The Leone Stars were handed a ban from football after government failed to comply with Fifa's order to have the ousted Isha Johansen-led administration of the football association reinstated.

The Black Stars boosted their qualification chance after their crucial 2-0 victory over Ethiopia earlier this month.
