Emmanuel Gyasi, the often overlooked Ghanaian forward, made a significant impact for his new team, Empoli, by scoring a crucial goal in their surprising 2-0 triumph over Fiorentina in a Serie A match.

Gyasi, who recently joined Empoli from Spezia following their relegation last season, celebrated his first goal for the club with great joy.

On Instagram, he shared a message that emphasized the importance of determination and hard work, saying, “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination. Work hard in Silence, Humility, and Passion. Your Success will make the Noise.”

Empoli secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Fiorentina on matchday 9.

The match was played at Fiorentina’s home ground, the Stadio Artemio Franchi. This victory elevated Empoli to the 17th position on the league table.

During the game, Gyasi was substituted in the 78th minute, replacing his teammate Cancellieri.

On the other side, his compatriot Alfred Duncan, who was playing for Fiorentina, remained on the pitch for 73 minutes before being replaced by Mandragora.

Gyasi made a significant impact by scoring in the 81st minute to extend Empoli’s lead, following Francesco Caputo’s earlier goal that had given the visitors the advantage in the match.
