Ghanaian forward Raymond Anokye Asante has completed a deadline-day move to Belgian Challenger Pro League side Patro Eisden, joining from top-flight club Charleroi.

The 21-year-old arrives with a growing reputation and is expected to strengthen Patro Eisden’s attacking options as the club continues its push for promotion to the Jupiler Pro League.

Anokye Asante, who previously spent time in Italy with Udinese, caught the eye recently with a remarkable performance for Charleroi, scoring a hat-trick within 21 minutes in his final appearance for the club. That display underlined his goal-scoring instinct and ability to make an immediate impact.

At Patro Eisden, the young Ghanaian will share a dressing room with Belgian football icon Radja Nainggolan, a presence expected to add experience and leadership to the squad.

The move represents another important step in Anokye Asante’s career as he seeks regular playing time and the opportunity to play a key role in a team fighting for promotion.
