Hearts of Oak is on the brink of bolstering their squad with the anticipated signing of 18-year-old striker Kwabena Boateng from Legon Cities.

Boateng is expected to finalize a three-year contract with the Phobians in the coming days, following a successful medical evaluation on August 7, 2024.

His move to Hearts of Oak comes as a free transfer, following the conclusion of his contract with Legon Cities at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Boateng recently participated in a preseason friendly where Hearts of Oak played to a 3-3 draw with Bechem United at the Pobiman Sports Complex. Last season, he made 28 appearances for Legon Cities and scored six goals.

With this new addition, Hearts of Oak aims to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the upcoming season.
