Hearts of Oak left back William Dankyi has tendered in a transfer request as he seek to get h8s career back on track.

According to the club's communication Director, Mr. Opare Addo, the former Liberty Professionals star has written to the Phobians, asking out of the club.

‘‘William Dankyi has written to us that he wants to move because he's not getting playing time,’' Opare Addo revealed in an interview.

Dankyi joined Hearts of Oak from regional rivals Liberty Professionals in the middle of the 2017-18 Ghana Premier League campaign.

The 24-year old became an instant first choice left back for the Accra based under then head coach Kim Grant.

However, with the arrival of Congolese international Rady Ovuoka ab the club, Dankyi  found first team opportunities difficult to come by and hence wants to leave.

Ghanaguardian.com understands that a number of clubs in the Ghanaian topflight have expressed interest in signing the Ghana Youth international ahead of the start of the new campaign.
