I can’t spend more than GHS30 a day- Sakawa victim

A resident of Dormaa in the Bono Region, Nana Kofi, has made a desperate public plea for help after revealing the torment he endures from participating in a money ritual, locally referred to as Sakawa.
Speaking in an interview aired by Kumasi-based Promise TV, Nana Kofi recounted how financial hardship and abandonment by his father led him to seek wealth through spiritual means.
“My father did not take care of me after he broke up with my mother. Out of frustration, I was influenced by friends and followed them to seek quick money through rituals. I was successful and now have money, but the sad fact is that I cannot spend more than GH¢30 a day.”
Despite claiming to have amassed significant wealth including ownership of seven houses and other properties, Nana Kofi said his prosperity comes with terrifying conditions.
According to him, he must perform a ritual every time he wishes to give money to someone.
When pressed about the nature of the ritual, he made a disturbing revelation saying, “I have to eat human faeces and drink urine from a newborn baby.”
While refusing to disclose the source of these items, he claimed that the substances are sold, but did not elaborate further.
Nana Kofi claims he has only one year left to live, though he did not clarify who gave him this prediction or under what circumstances.
