Kotoko need to rest Razak Abalorah for 3 games – Abubakari Damba
Former Black Stars goalkeeper Abubakari Damba says Kumasi Asante Kotoko must hand fatigued Razak Abalora a three game rest so as to help him refresh and build has confidence.
Felix Annan was restored into the goalpost after sitting out most matches this season for Razak Abalora to keep post.
After 19 matches, Razak Abalora was excluded from the Kotoko line up that faced WAFA in the 1-1 drawn game last Saturday at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
According to Damba, Felix Annang should be maintained in the goal post as he was very assured in the 1-1 drawn game with WAFA.
“The performance of Felix Annan was satisfactory and they should maintain him”, he told Happy 98.9FM.
“For Razak Abalorah he needs to be rested for at least three games. This will allow Abalorah to rest and also build his confidence. So in my opinion they need to play Felix Annan ahead of Abalorah.
“They should also not think of putting Abalorah too much on the bench since that can also affect his performance considering the stage he is in now”, he added.
