Kwame Poku shines in Peterborough’s win against Derby County

In a thrilling encounter, Kwame Poku displayed his football prowess, contributing a goal and an assist in Peterborough United’s 3-2 victory against Derby County.

The match started with a bang as James Collins scored within the opening 30 seconds for Derby County.

However, Peterborough responded with determination, and Harrison Burrows, assisted by Kwame Poku, leveled the score with a deflected left-foot strike.

Derby County was awarded a penalty in the 58th minute, but Peterborough’s goalkeeper made a brilliant save. Despite the setback, James Collins capitalized on the rebound to put Derby back in the lead.

Undeterred, Peterborough fought back, with Kwame Poku showcasing his skills with an extraordinary header in the 83rd minute.

Poku’s well-timed effort, assisted by Burrows, brought Peterborough level once again.

The climax of the match came in the dying moments when Ricky-Jade Jones secured the victory for Peterborough with a decisive goal, sealing the team’s much-needed win under the leadership of manager Darren Ferguson.
