NDC Director of elections killed in road accident

The Central Regional Director of Elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Asiedu is reported dead.

According to reports, he died in a road crash on Tuesday whilst conveying collation sheets from the general elections to the party’s headquarters in Accra.

The Central Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mr Allotey Jacobs has confirmed the incident.

The fatal accident was said to have occurred on the Apam -Winneba stretch of the Cape Coast-Accra road.

Asiedu was in the company of the NDC regional treasurer Eric Essuah and a driver when the accident happened
