Incumbent member of Parliament for the Oforikrom Constituency, Dr Emmanuel Marfo in the Ashanti Region has retained his seat.

The NPP's Dr Emmanuel Marfo polled 60,156 while the Parliamentary candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Henry Osei Akoto garnered 24,747.

Muniru Seidu of the People's National Convention (PNC) polled 545 votes.

Out of the total registered voters of 107,357 in the constituency, 85,934 votes were cast in the constituency of which 85,448 of them was valid votes.

With 486 of the total votes rejected in the Parliamentary elections on the Oforikrom Constituency.

According to our reporter at the collation center, Akakpo Agodji,  President Akufo-Addo won 62,942 while Former President Mahama had 22,536 with GUM getting 289
