Parliament confirms Asante Akyem North MP, O.K Frimpong arrested at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport

The Clerk to Parliament, Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, issued a formal statement confirming that the Independent Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North Constituency, Kwame Ohene Frimpong, was held at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.
Parliament disclosed that the Rt. Hon. Speaker and the leadership of the House have been actively liaising with Ghana’s diplomatic mission in The Hague to obtain a clearer picture of the events leading to the lawmaker’s detention.
