Young Patriots Front commends Nana Addo’s Appointments
The Young Patriots Front (YPF) has hailed the appointments made by prresident-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who is to be sworn in on Saturday 7 January, 2017 at the Black Star square in Accra.
The group, in a statement, says the appointment so far is the best and it is in the interest of all Ghanaians.
It furthermore voiced that the country needs to be eased from its current problematic situation, blaming the outgoing NDC for creating an “ethnic gap.”
“The appointments made so far, reflect the regional and ethnic balance agenda set out by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to bridge the regional and ethnic gap created by the National Democratic Congress (NDC),” the statement read.
“The Young Patriots (YPF) believes that the appointments made so far by the President Elect, will go a long way to bring to reality all promises made to the good people of Ghana.”
Nana Akufo-Addo on Wednesday announced key appointments for the Presidency and National Security ahead of his inauguration as Head of State on January 7, with some analysts describing his appointees as those who inspire confidence in the incoming administration.
To the YPF, the appointments made by Nana Addo, blending the old and the youngsters as well as regional and ethnic balance, will deepen the county’s democratic dispensation.

YOUNG PATRIOTS FRONT (YPF) LAUDS APPOINTMENTS MADE SO FAR BY NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO-ADDO, THE PRESIDENT ELECT.
The Young Patriots Front has said, the appointments made so far by the President Elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is in the best interest of all, particularly at this point that the country is at a cross road and therefore requires able and great minds to turn things around quickly to alleviate people from their current predicaments.
The appointments made so far, reflect the regional and ethnic balance agenda set out by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to bridge the regional and ethnic gap created by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Announcing his administrative staff at his Nima residence in Accra on Wednesday 4th January 2017, Frema Osei Opare was mentioned as Chief of staff to oversee the activities of all Presidential staffers at the office of the Presidency.
He also mentioned renowned and excellent lawyer, Nana Bediatuo Asante as his Executive Secretary, while Eugene Arhin was named as Director in charge of Communication at the office of the Presidency.
Brigadier General Emmanuel Okyere and Lord Commey were announced as National Security Advisor and Director of Operations at the presidency respectively.
Francis Asenso Boakye and Abu Jinakpor are to serve as First and Deputy Chief of respectively. Ambassador Hassan Ahmed was made in charge of State Protocol while Saratu Atta will serve as Special Assistant to the president. Joshua Kyeremeh is also to serve as National Security Coordinator.
Other names include, Kan Dapaah, Victor Newman and Clara Napaga Sulemana Tia who are to serve as Minister designate for National Security, Director of Research and Presidential staffer respectively.
The Young Patriots (YPF) believes that the appointments made so far by the President Elect, will go a long way to bring to reality all promises made to the good people of Ghana.
The appointments made which depict a blend between the old and the youngsters as well as regional and ethnic balance, will deepen our democratic dispensation.
