Ghanaian winger Patrick Razak has started training with former club Hearts of Oak ahead of new Ghana Premier League season.

According to media reports, the diminutive attacker joined the Ghana Premier League outfit’s pre-season upon invitation by the club’s officials.

Razak has been without a club since his release by Guinean giants Horoya AC last year.

The former Ghana youth international had a difficult time in the West African country, failing to make a single a competitive appearance for the club throughout his stay there.

Patrick Razak has been linked with a return to the Phobians but he will be assessed by Coach Edward Odoom, who will give an approval before any further step is taken.

Hearts of Oak have been on a recruitment drive since the Ghana Premier League was truncated in March this year, bringing in the likes of Eric Dizan, Danjumah Kuti, and former defender Nuru Sulley.

The Rainbow club started their pre-season exercise on Monday as they begin the quest to end a decade-long trophy drought.
