Sherrif Tiraspol midfielder Edmund Addo handed maiden Black Stars call up

Ghanaian youngster Edmund Addo has been handed a call up by the head coach of the Black Stars Milovan Rajevac after starring for his Moldovan side Sherrif Tiraspol in recent times in Europe as reported by your reliable Ghanaguardian.com on Tuesday.

The player has been handed an invitation for the double header games against Ethiopia and South Africa later this month in what  is a make or break games for the Black Stars.

The combative midfielder helped his Moldovan side defeat Real Madrid 2-1 in the UEFA Champions League and has since had his reputation soar.

Reports were that, Addo was handed a late call up by the handlers of the Black Stars for the last qualifiers against Zimbabwe but he was prevented from traveling by his team since the call up was sent at a short notice.

Addo has been in good form this season and showed the whole world the stuff he is made of as he starred for his Moldovan side against Real Madrid.

He hasn’t missed a game this season with a total of 19 appearances so far across all competitions with a goal scored.
