Sulley Muntari is not human; he is a spirit like Daddy Lumba – Henry Asante Twum
Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has showered veteran Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Muntari with plaudits for his superlative performances since making a return to the Ghana Premier League.
He has gone all the way to compare the former Inter Milan midfielder to a spirit and not been human.
According to the former Sports journalist, the former Black Stars midfielder can be equated to the legendary music icon Daddy Lumba.
He says that Sulley Muntari is capable of doing anything on the field with his impressive performance and that makes him a spirit and not human.
“Sulley Muntari is not a human, He is a spirit and he can do anything at any time” he told Accra based Hot FM in an interview.
“Sulley, is like Daddy Lumba …. Lumba is also not human…seriously their spirit communicates to you directly and these are people I am a bit closer to”.
Sulley Muntari who had been without a club since leaving lower tier Spanish side Albacete in 2019 and only joined Hearts of Oak in February this year.
He has since played five matches in the Ghana Premier League having provided an assist in the draw against Legon Cities and scored on Wednesday against WAFA from the spot.
Muntari also played well in the President’s Cup game against Kotoko which Hearts of Oak won the game.
The veteran midfielder missed the last few matches for Hearts but returned on Friday night against Accra Lions with a virtuoso performance.
