Medeama SC Assistant Coach, Stephen Gurah, is determined to secure a victory against Nations FC and turn their season around.

Medeama has struggled in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, with just one win and two losses in five matches.

The defending champions are currently at the bottom of the league table with only four points and are eager to rejuvenate their campaign with a win.

Gurah acknowledged their recent subpar performance in a 2-1 defeat and stressed the need to address their shortcomings.

“We have got three things in football and thus win, loose or draw. Our performance in the last game wasn’t enough to fetch us all three points so we ended up losing 2-1. So we now have find the problems and find antidote to that.”

“Coming up against Nations FC, we hope to right all wrongs this time and make it happen. Trust me, we have nothing to offer the spectators of Medeama SC than to win the game and we going to go direct to claim the maximum three points.”

He emphasized that their primary goal against Nations FC is to secure a win and expressed confidence that they would deliver a strong performance.

Nations FC, on the other hand, heads into the game with confidence after a 2-2 draw with Asante Kotoko. The match is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT at the Akoon Community Park.
