“Winning the CAF Club competitions is not a daydream”- Dr. Kwame Kyei assures supporters

Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Dr. Kwame Kyei says that winning the Caf inter club competitions is not a day dream by the club.
The porcupine warriors have suffered two consecutive defeats in the Caf inter club competitions this season.
First Kotoko were eliminated at the hands of Tunisians giants Etoile du Sahel despite having recorded a two nil lead in the first leg in Kumasi.
The Ghanaian giants conspired to lose by 3 goals to nil despite having a man advantage for the final 12 minutes of the contest in Tunisia.
They then dropped into the second tier competition that is the Confederation’s Cup and failed woefully as they were eliminated by little known Ivorian side San Pedro Fc having won the first leg by a lone goal.
Kotoko were defeated in Ivory Coast by two goals to nil by San Pedro to signal a second elimination this season from a Caf inter club competition.
The bank-roller of the team has in the past promised to secure the club a continental trophy this he has reminded the club’s fans that it is not a pipe dream and will certainly come to pass.
