A/R: Family of six die in gory accident on Nkawie road
A motor accident has claimed the lives of a family of six in a gory accident in the evening of Saturday, 8th January 2022 on the Kumasi -Nkawie road.
The vehicle had a husband and wife, three children and their mother in law on board when the driver who happens to be the husband attempted to over take another vehicle.
According to reports the driver in an attempt to overtake a vehicle saw a vehicle coming towards him at top speed so in an attempt to swerve the on coming vehicle, their car veered off the road and plunged into a river drowning them to their death.
The family attended the wedding ceremony of the husband’s sister and upon their return met their untimely death on the Kumasi- Nkawie road.
A victim in the accident has been identified as Eunice Fosuah, a Community Health Nurse at the ForiFori Health Center in the Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region who is currently on a study leave pursuing post basic midwifery.
According to close friends the couples married not long ago and have a young child together but have all perished together with other family members in an accident.
Tributes have been pouring in from close friends, mates at the Nursing Training College, colleague workers, church members among others since news of the unfortunate incident filtered in.
