Asante Kotoko’s Hubert Gyau earns Zito’s praise ahead of Super Clash

Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has hailed the development of midfielder Hubert Gyau, following his standout performance in the 4–2 win over Karela United at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Gyau, who joined from Berekum Chelsea, has quickly become a key figure in Kotoko’s midfield, and his brace on Sunday has further cemented his status as one to watch.
“He is improving, gradually improving… I told him to play with the team and where to go individually,” Zito said.

Zito admitted he wasn’t surprised by Gyau’s performance, but was especially delighted with the second goal, calling it “so fantastic.
Kotoko now turn their attention to the Matchday 9 Super Clash against Hearts of Oak, scheduled for Sunday, November 9 at 16:00 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Gyau’s form could be decisive as the Porcupine Warriors aim to extend their unbeaten run and climb the table.
