Ghanaian rapper Medikal has disclosed that his alleged ex-wife, Fella Makafui, invited the police to their home amid an argument that the artiste said could have been resolved amicably.
He said that the police invitation followed an argument that transpired at their house on May 17, 2024, where he demanded that Fella Makafui's cousin leave his house for disrespecting him.
Medikal further narrated that this said cousin, whom he identified as Bless, exhibited rude behaviour towards him, and that drove him to make that decision.
Fella Makafui, on the other hand, who wouldn't sit back and watch her cousin get sacked from the house, invited the police into the issue.
"My baby mama called the cops on me yesterday for asking her cousin to move out of my house after staying with us for over two years. This wouldn't have come out, but since her cousin named Bless was recording, I would like it to be known by the public. People may call it childish and dramatic, but I prefer to be named as such before anything happens to me in the future. Mind you, I've neither been abusive nor violent ever since we lived together. All I want is to co-parent in peace and give my child a bright future."
"Her cousin Bless had the nerve to call me names like 'foolish man,' provoking me by saying further things like 'If you are a man, do something,' but as calm as I am, I've never hit a woman in my life. Their plan is to provoke me to incriminate myself so badly that I get thrown out of my own house by the police, which is never happening. I built that house for my daughter, not my baby mama's family members!" he shared on his X page.
The rapper made other revelations about his alleged collapsed marriage, which included not engaging in any sexual affair with his wife for close to a year.
This statement could confirm the divorce rumors between the once lovebirds Fella Makafui and Medikal, which have been making headlines for a couple of weeks now.
