GFA appoint Johnson Smith and Winfred Dormon as Black Satellites assistant coaches

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed the appointments of Johnson Smith and Winfred Dormon as assistant coaches of the Black Satellites, completing the backroom staff of newly appointed head coach Maxwell Konadu.
Smith, currently Nations FC deputy coach, is a seasoned tactician with extensive Ghana Premier League experience. He previously served as assistant coach at Asante Kotoko before moving to Nations FC, where he works alongside head coach Kassim Mingle. His vast knowledge of player development and tactical organization is expected to be an asset to Ghana’s U-20 side.
Dormon, meanwhile, brings a wealth of expertise in youth football. A long-serving assistant at Dreams FC, he recently stepped up as the club’s head coach ahead of the new season. On the international stage, he has also worked as an assistant coach for the Black Starlets, making him familiar with grooming talent through the national ranks.
In addition to Smith and Dormon, Kelvin Agyemang joins the technical setup as goalkeepers’ coach, rounding out a strong backroom staff for the Satellites as they prepare for upcoming international assignments.
