Ghana striker Nana Poku steers Al-Wakrah SC back to Qatar top-flight league

Ghana striker Nana Poku has guided Al-Wakrah back to Qatar top-flight League after two seasons in the second division.
The Blue Wave secured qualification after beating Al-Bida 4-0 in the penultimate match of the competition.
Lokra broke the deadlock in the 25th minute before Nana Poku scored the second goal with a header in the 30th minute.
Omar Ali grabbed a second half brace to ensure the result was beyond doubt.
Al-Wakrah will be crowned second division champion regardless of the result in the last match with Al-Mirkhia “II”.
