Top scorer in the Ghana Premier League Yahaya Mohammed says their game against Medeama is a must win game.

Aduana Stars have won all matches at home this season and are second  on the league log only a point adrift of the first place Berekum Chelsea.

On Sunday they will come up against third placed Medeama who have also been in a fine form this season in the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi based Ashh Fm, he promised to add to his six goals he has scored this season with all of them coming at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.

“It’s a must win preparation for us against Medeama Sc and it’s not going to be an easy game for us.”

“We will win if we obey what our coach taught us and become tactically disciplined, yes I will score a goal at Dormaa”

The striker is yet to score away from home and denies the hard tackles suffered away from home is a factor while applauding the partnership between himself and returnee Bright Adjei.

“The tackle I receive from away matches doesn’t prevent me from scoring in away matches but  we have just played only 6 matches so the away goals will come soon”

“My partnership with Bright Adjei is very good  and the standard of the 2018/19 GPL is very good” he added

“Every match is a tough match and the standard is the same thing compared to the previous once , the only changes is in the Administrative system”

“When you compare our GPL officiating to English Premier League there is nothing too different they always do the same mistakes”.

He however admonished Ghanaian clubs to get on board a lot of sponsors and not over rely on only what the league itself brings in.

“Ghanaian teams should get sponsors so that they don’t rely on the entire league sponsors and I’m working hard to get a call up to the black Stars” he concluded.
