Ignore false reports, we’re not accepting local postgrad applications now – GETFund

The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) says it has not commenced postgraduate local scholarship applications for the 2021/2022 academic year.

In a press statement issued on Friday, September 17, 2021, GETFund said its attention has been drawn to contrary reports on social media platforms, and thus asked the public to completely disregard such reports, as anyone who falls victim to the “hoax”, does so at his own peril.

“Our attention has been drawn to false information circulating on social media space that the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is accepting applications for postgraduate local scholarships (Masters and Ph.D. Programs) for the 2021/2022 academic year.”

“We wish to notify the public that the GETFund has not commenced postgraduate local scholarships applications for the 2021/2022 academic year.”

“GETFund shall not be held liable to any person who falls victim to such cruel falsehood.”
