Attorney General Marrietta Brew and Tony Lithur lawyer to president Mahama were seen at the headquarters of the National Democratic Congress.

The barrister was spotted carrying documents in brown envelopes and AG Brew was holding her handbag. Reports have pointed out that the president’s solicitors may be preparing a legal suit to debunk some election outcomes.

The two lawyers were the defence team for the president in the 2012 election petition.

Five of the presidential aspirants have congratulated the man in the lead, Nana Addo  although the final result has not been yet declared. The Electoral commission is expected to do so within the stipulated 72 hours.

President Mahama is yet to concede defeat even though he has assured the nation the results will be accepted no matter the outcome.

He again urged all NDC supporters to remain calm so that the EC can carry out its duty efficiently.
