Medeama appoints Nebojsa Kapor as head coach
Medeama has officiall announced the appointment of Nebojsa Kapor as the club’s new Head Coach.
The 37-year-old Bosnian tactician has signed a one-year deal with a two-year option for renewal.
Kapor takes over from Evans Augustine Adotey, who is returning to his role as technical director.
Nebojsa Kapor is familiar with the Ghanaian domestic football scene, having previously worked with Tema Youth and had an unofficial stint with Bechem United.
The club expressed confidence in Kapor’s ethos, tactical approach, and commitment to development, considering him the ideal candidate for the position.
In a statement, Kapor expressed his happiness about joining Medeama and contributing to the club’s success.
He acknowledged the ambitious nature of the club and praised the work done by his predecessor, Evans Augustine Adotey.
Kapor emphasized the collective effort needed to achieve excellence and set the club up for success.
Known for his high-energy and eye-catching coaching style, Nebojsa Kapor is also credited as a talent spotter who helps young players realize their full potential within a strong squad ethos.
He is expected to take full charge of the team once his documentation is finalized and approved by the Ghana Football Association.
Nebojsa Kapor was born in Serbia and holds a UEFA badge from the Croatia Football Federation.
His coaching experience includes working as a technical director for Football Schools and Camp Leotar Trebinje Premier League in Bosnia.
Additionally, he served as the head coach of the University Football team at Normal University, Hefei.
Medeama aims to build on its successful foundation under the leadership of Nebojsa Kapor, who brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to achieving excellence in Ghanaian football.
