The Black Stars of Ghana are set to kick off their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign at the plush Stade Felix Houphouët-Boigny in Abidjan.

Ghana will play all three of their group matches at this stadium, which also serves as the home grounds of ASEC Mimosas.

Ghana's first match is scheduled against Cape Verde on January 14, 2024, at the Stade Felix Houphouët-Boigny.

The team will face the formidable Egypt on January 18, 2024, and then play their last group game against Mozambique on January 22, 2024, both at the same venue.

Under the management of coach Chris Hughton, the Black Stars are aiming to end their trophy drought, which has persisted for 42 years.

Their last AFCON title came in Libya in 1982. The team has been in three finals since then, in 1992, 2010, and 2015, but fell short on all occasions.

The 27-man squad, currently undergoing preparations at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Stadium near Kumasi, will be looking to make a strong impact in the upcoming tournament.
