Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom has decided to part ways with Libyan giants Al-Akhdar after terminating his contract by mutual consent.

The journeyman, who joined the Libyan Premier League club earlier this year, announced his departure through Al-Akhdar's official Facebook handle.

In a statement, the club confirmed, "The contract was terminated by mutual consent with Ghanaian international striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom."

During his time with Al-Akhdar, the former Juventus striker made 11 appearances and scored three goals across all competitions, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess.

Yiadom, who made his debut for the Ghana national team in August 2012, has an impressive international record with seven goals in 19 appearances.

The striker began his career in Ghana with Bechem United before venturing abroad to join DC United. He then embarked on a journey in Italian football, starting with Genoa C.F.C's youth side in the Campionato Nazionale Primavera.

Afterwards, Yiadom had a one-year loan spell at Sassuolo, where he made 66 appearances and scored 21 goals. He later had a stint at Juventus before moving to Bergamo to join Atalanta.

Prior to his time with Al-Akhdar, he also had loan spells at Elche and played in the Netherlands, Serbia, China, Poland, Israel, and Greece, showcasing his versatility as a player.

Yiadom's decision to part ways with Al-Akhdar marks another chapter in his footballing journey, and it remains to be seen where he will continue his career in the future.
