13 year old phone thief gets his hand chopped off in Nigeria

A thirteen year old boy has got his hands chopped off in an attempt of stealing a mobile phone in Sapele, a suburb of Delta State in Nigeria.

The owner of phone cut off his hand while the boy tried to pick up the phone through the window.

According the owner, he was asleep when he heard a sound of movement in his netted window.

In a Facebook post, he narrated his story saying he was not far asleep when the thief forced his hand through the window and he quickly pulled the sharp cutlass he had kept in his room and chopped of the hand.

The sad incident happened at around 12 midnight of April 12 2018, living the young boy on the run with a bleeding chopped arm into the darkness of the night screaming.
