Former Barcelona star Dani Alves recently marked his release on bail with an extravagant all-night celebration at his residence in Spain.

The festivity, held on March 27, 2024, saw the former Brazilian international surrounded by family and friends until the early hours of the morning.

Reports from UK outlet The Sun indicate that the event also honored the birthday of Alves’ father, Domingos Alves Da Silva.

Hosted at his villa in Esplugues de Llobregat, Spain, the lavish affair served as a moment of joy amid Alves’ recent legal troubles.

Following his initial sentencing of four-and-a-half years in prison for a rape incident at a nightclub in December 2022, Alves spent four weeks in Brians 2 Prison. However, he was granted bail on Monday, March 25, 2024, upon payment of a hefty fee of €1 million (£850,000).

Despite his release, Alves remains under strict conditions, including the retention of his Spanish and Brazilian passports and the obligation to appear in court every Friday.
