Ghana Premier League: Five coaches nominated for NASCO coach of the month award
In recognition of their outstanding performances in April, five coaches from the Ghana Premier League have been nominated for the prestigious NASCO Coach of the Month award.
The shortlisted coaches include Ibrahim Tanko of Accra Lions, Maxwell Konadu of Nsoatreman FC, Stephen Frimpong Manso of Bibiani Gold Stars, Nurudeen Amadu of FC Samartex 1996, and Samuel Kwesi Fabin of Legon Cities.
Ibrahim Tanko guided Accra Lions to an impressive month, securing three wins, one draw, and one defeat in five league matches.
His team netted five goals while conceding three, propelling Accra Lions to 3rd place in the league standings.
Maxwell Konadu’s leadership saw Nsoatreman FC remain undefeated throughout April, clinching two wins and three draws in five league games. His team scored five goals and conceded three, securing a commendable sixth position in the league standings.
Nurudeen Amadu, the coach of FC Samartex 1996, earned his nomination after guiding the Timber Giants to victory in five matches.
His team secured three wins, one draw, and one loss, scoring six goals and conceding four.
Stephen Frimpong Manso, the coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, also made the shortlist following an exceptional April campaign.

Completing the list is Samuel Kwesi Fabin, who led Legon Cities to two victories, one draw, and one loss in four games. Despite a mixed performance, Legon Cities sits eleventh on the league log with 38 points.
The winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month award will receive a 42-inch NASCO television set courtesy of ElectroLand Ghana Limited, highlighting the recognition and rewards for coaching excellence in the Ghana Premier League.
