Ghanaians appointed as officials for WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers
The West African Football Union Zone B (WAFU B) has selected Ghanaians Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo and Emmanuella Grace Aglago as part of the officials for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifiers in Côte d’Ivoire.
Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo, a CAF instructor and coach, has been named a member of the tournament’s Technical Study Group.
A retired Ghana international and referee, Tagoe-Quarcoo is a pioneer of women’s football in Ghana and brings significant expertise to the sub-regional tournament.
Emmanuella Grace Aglago, a former FIFA referee, has been appointed to the Referee Committee for the tournament.
The 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B qualifying tournament will take place from August 10 to 23 in Côte d’Ivoire.
