Kotoko’s Cameroonian duo return for pre-season training
Asante Kotoko Cameroonian duo of Franm Mbella Etouga and Georges Rodrigues Mfegue have returned to Ghana ahead of the start of pre-season.
The two players had a great debut season with the porcupine warriors and have been linked with various clubs.
Frank Mbella has been linked with a potential move to Italian side Udinese with Asante Kotoko having agreed on a 1.5million euros deal.
It remains to be seen how long Frank Mbella in particular will be in Ghana playing for Asante Kotoko as the transfer runours swell.
Mbella scores 21 goals for Asante Kotoko and helped the club win their 25th Ghana Premier League title while Georges Rodriguez also scored eight goals for Kotoko.
In the last few days, the club has been engulfed with chaos with head coach Prosper Nartey resigning and the board of directors denying it.
