Celebrated Ghanaian highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena, as part of his social responsibilities, will embark on his annual ‘Save A Life’ campaign this year to save the lives of 5 children diagnosed of heart related diseases.

‘Save A Life’ Foundation was borne out of the increasing need to save the lives of children with the hole in heart condition whose parents cannot afford the cost of surgery. The project which started in 2013 has been supporting selected children with critical heart conditions every year at the Cardiothoracic Center, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

The foundation also seeks to raise awareness of the increasing pressure on the centre and the number of patients who are just waiting to die with no one to lend a helping hand.

In collaboration with the Israeli Embassy, the ‘Save a life’ Foundation sent four (4) patients to Israel for heart surgery in 2017.

After providing the surgery for the four children who live in Accra, Kwabena Kwabena is spreading his tentacles thus saving the lives of 5 children from the Eastern Region.

He is currently preparing for the 2018 edition of the programme, which will be held in October, in Takoradi.

Kwabena Kwabena therefore is appealing to corporate society, companies, churches and individuals to bring back hope to persons especially children with acute heart diseases.
