President Mahama nominates final batch of deputy ministers

President John Mahama has submitted the final list of nominees for Deputy Ministerial positions to Parliament for approval, in accordance with Articles 78(1) and 79(1) of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
The nominations, which were officially communicated through the Presidency Communications Directorate, mark the completion of the President’s appointments to support his ministerial team.
The four nominees and their respective ministries are as follows:
  • Dorcas Toffey, MP – Ministry of Transport
  • James G. Quayson, MP – Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • Mohammed Adam Sukparu, MP – Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations
  • Grace Ayensu-Danquah, MP – Ministry of Health
The nominations have been forwarded to Parliament through the Speaker for prior approval.
The announcement was signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP, Minister for Government Communications and Spokesperson to the President.
This final batch of Deputy Ministerial appointments is expected to bolster government operations across critical sectors such as health, transportation, diplomacy, and digital innovation, as the Mahama administration accelerates its development agenda.
