RTU beat Karela United in an entertaining local derby

Real Tamale United secured a thrilling 3-2 victory against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
Real Tamale United took an early lead, scoring two goals within the first 18 minutes. Baba Kushibu and Mohammed Mankuyeli found the net in the 8th and 18th minutes, respectively.
Karela United fought back, with Evans Adomako pulling one goal back in the 29th minute to make it 2-1.
In the second half, Afriyie Owusu extended Real Tamale United’s lead to two goals with a thunderous finish in the 53rd minute.
However, Karela United didn’t give up, and Alex Kuffuor scored in the 80th minute to reduce the deficit to 3-2.
