VIDEO: Watch the CCTV footage of the alleged Police raid on Moses Abor’s residence

Armed police officers on Sunday, September 7, 2025, conducted a surprise raid at the residence of Moses Abor, former Greater Accra Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Abor said the operation, which took place around 2:17 p.m., involved about 16 officers who arrived in three Tundra vehicles and on motorbikes.
According to him, the officers claimed they were acting on intelligence that he was hiding Bono Regional NPP Chairman, Kwame Baffoe—popularly known as Abronye DC.
While acknowledging that he maintains a friendly relationship with Abronye, Mr. Abor stated that he has not seen him in more than a year, describing the raid as both shocking and distressing.
“They stormed my house in a Rambo-style manner and even suggested that a car in my compound belonged to Abronye, which I denied because it was mine,” he told Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem programme.
The team reportedly searched every part of his home, including the garden and adjoining property. No arrests were made, and no items were confiscated.
Although the operation ended without incident, Mr. Abor said the experience left his family deeply unsettled. “My children and I couldn’t sleep in the house last night. I am even considering engaging someone to check the property to ensure nothing was planted there. I will also consult my lawyer on the matter,” he added.
He further expressed disappointment that the Ghana Police Service had not offered any explanation or apology following the raid.
The police are yet to release an official statement regarding the operation.
