Hanna Tetteh gets UN appointment in Kenya
Former Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ms Hanna Tetteh under the erstwhile Mahama administration has been given a United Nations appointment in Kenya.
The former Member of Parliament for the Awutu-Senya West Constituency was granted the Director-General of the UN office at Nairobi following the departure of Ms. Sahle-Work Zewde who has been appointed as Special Representative to the African Union and Head of the United Nations Office to the African Union (UNOAU).
The announcement of the appointment was done by the UN-Secretary General, Antonio Guterres on Friday July 13.
Ms Tetteh has served in the the Government of Ghana also as Minister of Trade and industry and lost her seat to George Andah in the 2016 general elections.
