Mahama praises ‘liberation hero’ Mugabe after Zimbabwe exit
Ex President John Dramani Mahama has sang words of praise for the Former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe calling him “a hero, and a great Pan Africanist”.
He stated this on his twitter handle on Wednesday 22 November 2017 as he prays that the dramatic events of November serve as a reboot for democracy and prosperity in Zimbabwe.
“History will remember Comrade Mugabe kindly”, the former President of Ghana stated.
Ex President Mugabe has ruled over Zimbabwe for 37 years and resigned due to the demand of the opposition and some members of his cabinet.
The citizens of Zimbabwe are generally pleased with his resignation as well as some European countries.
The Prime Minister of Britain, Theresa May has also expressed her excitement at the situation because this will allow Zimbabwe to practice democracy and organize free and fair elections to elect their leader.
