Photos: Nana Addo inspects guard of honour as part of his presidential duties.

His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  has inspected the guard of honour at his first day at office as part of his responsibilities as a president at the Flagstaff House on Monday January 9, 2017.

The 72-year-old Head of State was joined by his vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Ghana’s first female Chief of staff, Frema Osei Opare.

He was officially sworn into office on Saturday 7 January, 2017, taking over the presidential seat from former president John Dramani Mahama.

Before the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Mahama took president Nana Addo and vice, Dr. Bawumia on a tour to the Flagstaff House last Wednesday.
