Former Hearts player Isaac Oduro signs for Libyan side Al Madina SC

Former Hearts of Oak defender Isaac Oduro has sealed a move to Libyan side Al Madina SC for the remainder of the season.

The Libyan side finalized the transfer for the 26 year old defender on Tuesday after agreeing personal terms with the player.

Oduro has initially signed a contract till the end of the season but has an option to extend it for two more years if he should impress his employers.

The Ghanaian full back has been unattached since departing Nigerian Premier League side Kwara United in July 2020.

He has since leaving Hearts of Oak played for Delta Force, Kenyan side AFC Leopard and Thai side Sakaeo FC.

Oduro is versatile and can play as a left sided midfielder or as a left full back.

He will team up with compatriot Maxwell Baakoh who joined the Libyan side recently from FC Cleopatra in Egypt.
