“Go to the Hague if you want we’ll meet you there”- KuYA to D.I boss
The Secretary of the Kumasi Youth Assosiation (KuYA), Kwabena Frimpong has stated that, the the Association does not care on what the Executive Director of the think tank policy Darko Institute (D.I), Dr. Kingsley Nyarko wants to do over their allegations that the he has insulted the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Dr Kingsley Nyarko while speaking on Class FM earlier had stated that, he wants an unqualified apology rendered to him by KuYA or he will file a court suite against them over the claims that he had insulted the Asantehene.
Dr Nyarko had given KuYA until May 11 to render the apology.
Mr Frimpong had replied the statement of Dr Nyarko on his intentions of going to the law court to seek justice by saying they will meet him, even if he goes to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the Hague.
He said,“We realised Kingsley Nyarko wants to get some fame out of this story, secondly, he wants to just divert attention and take all the blame. He wants Gabby and Bediatuo to be free and take the blame and we’re not ready to respond to him. He says he’s going to court, he should go to court and we’ll meet him there. If you meet him, tell him for me that I said he can go to the Hague…Kingsley Nyarko is a nonentity and we don’t want to deal with non- entities, we don’t have time for him.”
