Ghanaian teenager Prince Amoako Junior delivered the decisive moment for FC Nordsjaelland on Sunday, netting the winner in a 1-0 victory over FC Midtjylland in the Danish Superliga.

The 18-year-old striker needed just eight minutes to make his mark. Showing blistering pace and neat footwork, Amoako broke into the box before rifling home a low strike that proved the difference on the day.

Amoako, who lasted 88 minutes before being replaced by compatriot Stephen Acquah, now boasts four goals and one assist in eight league appearances this season—an impressive return for the highly-rated youngster.

Meanwhile, Black Stars midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi, recently crowned Superliga Young Player of the Month for August, played the full 90 minutes and was influential in Nordsjaelland’s midfield dominance.

The result cements Nordsjaelland’s strong start to the 2025/26 campaign, with their Ghanaian duo once again central to the team’s success.

Prince Amoako Junior, 18, was adjudged Man of the Match after scoring the only goal to give FC Nordsjaelland maximum points in the Danish SuperLiga.
